Competition Overview

These Terms and Conditions (Terms) govern the Reebok Impact Competition, available as part of Reebok Impact (the Experience) at www.reebokimpact.com (the Website), (the Competition).

Competition Term

The Competition commences on 10 May 2024 and ends at 11.59pm on 9 August 2024. Dates reflected are in New Zealand Standard Time (NZST) (the Term). Across the Competition Term, there will be three (3) Prize Draws total, with one (1) Prize Draw occurring in each of the months of June, July, and August 2024.

Eligibility

You can participate in the Competition if you:

have registered a valid Reebok Impact Account through the Website;

are not an Excluded Person; and

are at least 18 years of age at the date you enter (or have the consent of your parent or guardian, in accordance with our Terms of Use.

You are an “Excluded Person” and unable to participate in the Competition if you are: a director, officer, employee, contractor or agent of Futureverse Corporation Limited (and any of its related entities), any Reebok related entity (including any affiliates or subsidiaries), and/or Authentic Brands Group LLC or its related entities (including any affiliates or subsidiaries) (Futureverse, Reebok and/or ABG Personnel), or you are a member of the immediate family (including spouses, partners, parents, siblings, grandparents, grandchildren or children) of any Futureverse, Reebok and/or ABG Personnel.

Your account username (Username) must be unique and not defamatory or offensive. Usernames that do not comply with this criteria may be rejected and/or you may be required to elect a new Username.

We may publish Usernames online and in or on other formats associated with the Competition, including the Website and social media channels. It is a condition of Entry that you consent to this publication if you choose to use an account with a Username that includes your personally identifiable information.

Entries

Participating in the Competition involves engaging in the Experience to create and purchase a unique Digital Reebok Sneaker and publicly sharing it on Instagram and/or X (formerly Twitter).

A Reebok Digital Sneaker means a digital Reebok sneaker collectible created by Futureverse on the Website through the Experience.

Entry process:

To be eligible to enter the Competition you need to purchase a Reebok Digital Sneaker and complete the following steps during the Term:

Register a valid Reebok Impact Account;

Create and purchase a unique Reebok Digital Sneaker through the Website in accordance with the Reebok Impact Terms of Use;

Screenshot your Reebok Digital Sneaker and:

Instagram: upload and publicly post/share at least one (1) Reebok Digital Sneaker design on your Instagram profile (profile must be made public), tag the Reebok Impact account in your post, and add it to your highlights reel (each a Post), and ensure the Post remains on your feed during the Competition Term; and/or

X: upload and publicly post/share at least one (1) Reebok Digital Sneaker design on your X profile (formerly Twitter), using the hashtag #ReebokImpact in your post (each a Post), and ensure the Post remains on your feed during the Competition Term,

(an Entry).

All Entries must be posted from an Instagram and/or X (Twitter) account held by, or on behalf of, the person named in the relevant Reebok Impact or FuturePass Account connected to the Reebok Digital Sneaker.

Invalid entries:

any entry which includes or depicts a Reebok Digital Sneaker that violates the Reebok Impact Terms of Use will be invalid and not qualify as an Entry.

any re-post, share, and/or re-share of an original Post, or any post which includes a Reebok Digital Sneaker which has already been posted and included in a Post, will be invalid and not qualify as an Entry.

we can only verify Entries made by or via a public Instagram and/or X account. We are unable to access or otherwise verify any Post made on or via a private account. Where any Post is made from a private account (either at the time of Posting or afterwards during the Term where it means we are unable to verify the Post), it will be invalid and not qualify as an Entry.

any Post which is removed, taken down, edited to delete or remove the Digital Reebok Sneaker, or which is otherwise not publicly visible on your Instagram and/or X feed at the date of the relevant Prize Draw will be invalid and not qualify as an Entry.

Any Post which does not represent a Reebok Digital Sneaker that has been validly purchased by You or on Your behalf will be invalid and not qualify as an Entry.

Any Post which depicts a Reebok Digital Sneaker that is owned by a third party and which you do not have consent or authorisation to use for the purpose of an Entry will be invalid and not qualify as an Entry.

Each Entry will qualify for a Prize Draw(s) based on the time we are notified as being tagged in the relevant Post, not at the time any Post is made (to the extent there is any delay). We accept no responsibility for late, lost, delayed, corrupted, inaccurate, and/or incomplete Entries (including due to any Post being made from a private Instagram or X account) or for any other reason including technical disruptions and/or network congestion of the Website. We do not guarantee continuous or secure access to the Competition Website.

You can choose to submit Entries for any or all three (3) Prize Draws. No Entries will carry over from one Draw to the next. Each new Draw will be made up of a pool of new Entries.

Number of Entries:

Participants can choose to enter the Competition multiple times by purchasing additional Reebok Digital Sneaker(s) and completing the Entry process again, by sharing a Post with a screenshot of a new and unique purchased Reebok Digital Sneaker.

Each new public Post and share of a new and unique purchased Reebok Digital Sneaker, equals one (1) additional Entry into the Competition.

For completeness, Posting and sharing the same Reebok Digital Sneaker more than once, or on different social media platforms, does not constitute an additional Entry. Each additional Entry must be a Post of a new and unique purchased Reebok Digital Sneaker.

Any attempts to game the Entry process, including the creation or use of multiple, fake or 'shadow' accounts linked to the same user may be disqualified.

Entry timing:

During the Competition Term, there are three (3) individual Prize Draws as stated below:

Prize Draw One (1): the period for valid Entries is between 10 May - 9 June 2024, with the Closing Date for Entries being 11:59pm 9 June 2024.

Prize Draw Two (2): the period for valid Entries is between 10 June - 9 July 2024, with the Closing Date for Entries being 11:59pm 9 July June 2024.

Prize Draw Three (3): the period for valid Entries is between 10 July - 9 August 2024, with the Closing Date for Entries being 11:59pm 9 August 2024,

(each a Prize Draw).

The winning Entries for each Prize Draw will be drawn [within five (5) business days] after the Closing Date for the relevant Prize Draw.

General: Each Entry is non-transferrable. Any Prize will be awarded to, and must be redeemed by, the person named in the Reebok Impact Account and/or FuturePass associated with the winning Entry. Prize winners may be required to verify their identity in order to receive their Prize.

Prizes

Participants in the Reebok Impact Custom Physical Sneaker Competition are eligible to win Prizes as follows:

Prizes: there will be 30 Winners total across the Competition, comprising 10 winners per Prize Draw (each a Winner). Each Winner will be eligible to receive the relevant Prize as set out below.

Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash or their monetary value or for any other form of compensation. Prize values are an estimation only and are correct as at the commencement date of the Competition.

By participating in the sneaker competition, entrants acknowledge and accept that the hand-painted sneakers awarded as prizes are provided "as is", meaning that due to the nature of the customization techniques used, these may result in unique characteristics or imperfections, and vary in fragility.

While care has also been taken to add protective measures to materials, this does not guarantee protection against general wear and tear, which can affect the longevity of the applied artwork.

Sneakers are provided in their current condition without any warranties or guarantees, express or implied. This includes, but is not limited to, warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Should recipients (competition winners) choose to wear their customized sneakers, they do so at their own risk. If for any reason any element of a Prize is not available, we reserve the right to substitute that element for another of equal or greater value, or a cash alternative, in our sole discretion.

Futureverse will cover the cost (if any) to send a Prize to Winners.

Futureverse reserves the right to send Prizes up to 90 days after Winners' details are received and confirmed. It is each Winner's sole responsibility to supply correct contact information, and Futureverse shall not be held responsible for any delay or loss of Prizes caused by incorrect information.

Prize Winners Draw and Announcement

The following terms relate to Prizes drawn for participation in the Competition.

Prize Draw:

Participation in the Competition is based on chance. After the Closing Date for each Prize Draw, Futureverse will assign a number to each eligible Entry for that Prize Draw. Within five (5) business days of the Closing Date, Futureverse will then use a random number generator to determine the 10 Prize Winners for the relevant Prize Draw. There will be a total of three (3) Prize Draws across the Competition Term, one (1) during June, July and August.

Notification and announcement:

Once we have verified the Winners' eligibility:

each Winner will receive a direct message (DM) from the official Reebok Impact account on the social platform (Instagram or X) that the Winner used to Post the winning Entry for the Competition;

Winners will need to respond to the DM within 10 business days of the date it is sent, to confirm their contact and delivery details to receive the Prize; and

Usernames and/or names for Winners will be published on Reebok Impact social channels.

We will only ever contact Winners using our official @ReebokImpact Instagram and X accounts. Please do not respond to or engage with messages or contact attempts from any other accounts which may seek to identify themselves as Reebok or Futureverse. If you have any questions or concerns, or would like to verify a message you receive in relation to the Competition, please contact Support.

If you think you are a Winner but face any issues responding to our DMs, please contact Support to request help within the 10 day period of receiving our DM.

Forfeited Prizes: If:

A Prize Winner does not confirm their contact and delivery details for receipt of their Prize within ten (10) business days of the Prize winners' names being announced (and after reasonable attempts by Futureverse to contact them using their contact details); or

a Prize winner advises that they do not want to accept the Prize; or

any Prize winner is disqualified (including because their relevant entry is determined to be invalid),

the winner will be deemed to have forfeited the Prize and that Prize will be redrawn using the random number generator draw process described above.

Publicity and Marketing

If you win, by accepting a Prize you agree that we may use or publish your name (and/or Username) as a Prize winner in Competition related media, including but not limited to, publication online, including on the Website, and/or via email and other formats and electronic means.

We will publish (or otherwise make available, e.g. to any regulator) information about the Competition Winners if obliged and/or requested.

Invalid Entries and Disqualification

We always want to offer fair and transparent competitions, free from abuse or cheating. If you enter the Competition in a way that is contrary to these Terms and/or the Reebok Impact Terms of Use, your Entry will be invalid and disqualified, and any Prize(s) awarded may be withdrawn or voided.

In order to ensure fairness and compliance with this Terms and the Reebok Impact Terms of Use, we reserve the right at any point during the Competition to:

verify the eligibility of participants and Winners by requesting such information we consider reasonably necessary. Delivery or issuance of any Prize may be withheld unless and until verification is completed to our reasonable satisfaction;

disqualify any user or person from participating in the Competition who we reasonably determine to have participated or acted in a manner which undermines the Competition;

disqualify any Entry/ies made using anonymous email services, shadow accounts, and/or submitted by macros or other automated means;

disqualify any Entry/ies that appear to be, but are not in fact, made directly by you, including any Entries that use techniques such as masking your identity by manipulating IP addresses, using aliases or identities other than your own, or any other means;

disqualify any Entry/ies which do not fully meet the requirements of these Terms (including any invalid entry), the Reebok Impact Terms of Use, or which are made by any Excluded Person or person who does not meet the eligibility criteria set out in these Terms; and

delete or otherwise remove without notice any Reebok Digital Collectible from the Experience which violates the Reebok Impact Terms of Use, and request that you promptly delete any Posts containing screenshots or other depictions of such Reebok Digital Collectibles.

We will not be liable for any delay or failure to comply with any of our obligations in these Terms for reasons beyond our reasonable control or reasons beyond the reasonable control of our sub-contractors.

General

Liability: Nothing in these Terms limits any 'consumer' rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. Prize winners accept the Prize at their own risk. Subject to any applicable law which cannot be excluded, we (including Reebok related entities (including any affiliates or subsidiaries), and/or Authentic Brands Group LLC or its related entities (including any affiliates or subsidiaries)) will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the Competition or any Prizes.

Variation: If we cannot run the Competition as planned for reasons beyond our reasonable control or for reasons which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Competition, we reserve the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Competition.

Privacy: any personal information you supply in connection with the Competition will be used and managed in accordance with our applicable Privacy Policy here

Decisions are final: subject always to the Terms, our decisions in connection with the Competition shall be final and binding.

Severability: If any part of these Terms is legally ruled to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remainder will not be affected and will continue in full force and effect.

Governing law: these Terms and the Competition shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.
